Sad Announcement

I am sad to announce that my beautiful Prince Barney is currently in critical care. He has an auto immune condition which is causing his body to reduce making his red blood cells. My equine vets have done all they can and now it is up to Barney if his body will make more red blood cells. This has come as a huge shock, as his health declined so rapidly, with a lot of weight lost in such a short time. Barney is fighting hard to stay alive, he is still continuing his routine with sleeps in the shade of the Jacaranda tree and eating his favourite treats and lucerne hay, just very, very slowly. He still whinnys out for me. I cuddle him constantly and tell him that he is the bestest boy ever and I love him so much. To think of losing him is incredibly devastating for me, every night when I put him in his stable, I cuddle and kiss him good night, I do not know if it will be the last time. I would like to keep the website up until further notice in tribute to my beautiful Prince Barney, who has been the best pony to love and care for the last 12 years. I am privileged to own such a beautiful boy, he delighted so many children for many years. He is truly a special real life Unicorn that has the kindest nature and so beautiful inside and out.
